The EU Commission has fined Microsoft for an amount equal to EUR 899 million for continuing to abuse its dominant position in the market despite the first sentence imposed in 2004. This is the largest figure ever awarded as a penalty for violation of antitrust law by the European Commission accusing Microsoft of not honoring the agreements set out in its ruling of 2004 had to be fulfilled as a deadline October 22, 2007. The company has continued to impose "excessive and unreasonable prices" to allow access to your computer documentation, making it more difficult communication between their systems and those of the competition. We look forward statements by Microsoft.
